Called Tempzone of South Dade about an old AC unit I knew was on it's last legs that died on me. The owner, Christian, took the call and came out within an hour. He confirmed that the unit was dead and we discussed several options based on what I was looking for. I decided on a new system that afternoon and the next day he was there to install it. By the end of the day, the new unit was in and working perfectly. He stuck around a while after the unit was installed to make sure it was running as it should and explained all the functionality to me and answered all my questions. Christian was very professional and responsive to my texts and calls. He went out of his way to help get a permit for my building as well. As for the job, the AC was installed within 24 hours of contacting him. I was very happy with the service, especially with it being at a competitive price. Highly recommend.

Our AC was not cooling, I checked the normal things like filter, dirty air handler, clogged line and checked to see the outside fan was working and coils were not blocked. All ok...so I don't know what is wrong. It was a Sunday and I found Tempzone through good reviews here on Google as well as Yelp. I set up the appointment online through Yelp and it said there was a $75 service call charge - fine. Christian was in contact and professional, came out checked and quickly said it was the AC capacitor. Fine, please replace and get our AC back cooling. Job was done in minutes. Great....until I got the cost....$275! $275 for a "job" that was done in minutes and a part that I could buy at Home Depot for $15-$30. Not cool (pun). Chris came right away when we called after our capacitator broke. He fixed it, gave us a quote for a new unit, and didn't charge us for the repair. He worked with us on payment and showed up and installed when he said he would. Do not hesitate to hire him, thanks again Chris !!
