Scam Scam Scam – Terminix Lies & Theft In February 2025, I was sold a so-called “complete rodent removal and cleanup package” by salesman Steve McClure. He promised full removal, sealing, and cleanup. What I actually got was nothing but 15 traps scattered around my house, with no real work done. For this, Terminix locked me into paying $120/month. Over nine months, I’ve spent almost $1,000 and the problem was never solved. After eight visits, they simply stopped coming while continuing to charge me. Now I’ve discovered I’m locked into over $2,000 more in charges through shady third-party billing. When I tried to cancel, they told me it was “out of their hands.” This isn’t pest control — it’s a scam. And what was Terminix’s public response to my review? A copy-and-paste corporate script
