Tez Marble

We were happy with the stone we found at Tez, but extremely disappointed with the fabrication and installation by their fabrication unit, called Stone Empire Fabricators. The stone was cut incorrectly and installed crooked. The countertop overhangs are visibly uneven. There are large gaps between the countertop and the wall. Even more concerning, portions of the stone are loose—you can actually see the stone bow when you press down on it. We were unable to resolve this issue with Stone Empire, so we have tried to reach out to Tez (who owns Stone Empire) but have had three phone calls to them unreturned. We are very frustrated that this subpar installation seems to be an acceptable outcome for both companies.

A great selection of tiles and slabs. From Marble to quartz to porcelain and on and on, they are beautiful pieces for different projects.

Customer Service great. Escorted to display area. Love the display of full slabs. They will prepare, deliver and install. Expensive but great selection of quazite. If in the market for unique designs of quazite and have huge budget, this is the place for you. Limited selection of granite. No purchase.

Tez Marble has the best selection of tiles and stone/marble slabs in the Bay Area. I have been working with the Oakland Showroom for 2 years now, because it is truly a one-stop-shop. I simply stopped going elsewhere. From gorgeous Italian mosaic to modern in-stock tiles and slabs, it’s all here. The big marble and stone warehouse is enormously inspiring. Plus there is a treat: the (previously feral) cat who presides over this domain, will give you a special tour of all the slabs. Great location, just off 880. Easy to park and pick up. Michael is wonderful to work with.
