Home Depot subcontracted the work to THD Fencing. What followed was one of the worst contractor experiences I have ever had. After inspectors and surveyors completed their work, it took nearly three months for installation to begin due to city and HOA permitting. When installation finally started, THD Fencing’s installers acted recklessly and unprofessionally. They began digging before final inspections were completed, and during excavation they: Broke underground sprinkler lines, flooding my property with water and mud Severed Xfinity and AT&T cable lines, disrupting utilities Destroyed existing landscaping that was intact prior

Terrible experience, poor work and terrible customer service. A waste of money and energy, and nobody responds. I have to redo almost all the work. Most of the panels are crooked, and the nails have split the wood.How is it possible that Home Depot protects them?

Stay away! Beware! We hired Home Depot and their third-party vendor, THDFencing, to upgrade our business's perimeter fence. Because it was Home Depot, we trusted them and complied with their requirement to pay the full cost upfront. First, they asked for a survey, which is standard, and we sent it over. Then, for two months, nothing happened. It was only after we started pressuring them that they began working on our project. But weeks later, they came back to us with a major problem: the city wouldn't allow the fence to be built because of zoning regulations. Any competent contractor should have known this in advance; the rules are publicly available online. They told us our options were to pay more for an upgraded fence or to lower the height, neither of which met our original needs. W

Honestly, from the start it was a pleasant experience. I was attended by Jocelyn, and she was able to give me some tips on things to look out for as new homeowner getting fencing for the first time. I was able to get a free estimate right away, my consultant Ignacio was very knowledgeable in what my city allows, as Coral Gables can be tricky. Home Depot pulls out all the necessary permits so that your fence is done legally. After signing, office took care everything, and when all the permits were approved. Their production team called me and helped me make sure i was ready for installation. I left the experience very satisfied and most importantly my fence looks amazing.
