The Chimney Sweep

We had some pretty bad deep cracks on top of our chimney that Jim found during our chimney sweep clean, he was back in about 2 days,filled them in and applied a new crown. Looks great! Highly recommend him, he's pretty affordable and gets the job done.

My experience with the chimney sweep was great. I called him on a Wednesday afternoon, and he was out at my place on Friday afternoon. My chimney was clogged and preventing my furnace from being used. In a couple of hours of work on Friday, the chimney sweep had me up and running: chimney unclogged with a new cap on top. And, working through him was cheaper than my other options! Overall The Chimney Sweep seemed to be a professional, family owned business that provided prompt, necessary services for me and my household to restore our heat in the middle of winter.

We had an amazing experience with Jim and his team at The Chimney Sweep. We had an inspection and he stated that the fireplace insert we had was great and that the cap was gone, which we knew. He had his crew out earlier than expected to get it fixed for us. Trustworthy, reasonable, prompt and excellent work, glad we found them!

We tried 4 other chimney companies over the years a couple to expensive and a couple not very kind. Jim and Haley from The Chimney Sweep were absolutely delightful. Not only did they explain in detail the proper way to check a draft by the way which I never even know what that was or meant but the very importance of it. It made me feel better especially about the carbon monoxide incident anyway I will call them and recommend them to all my friends and family if they need one. Thanks Jim

The worst experience wish I could post pictures of what damage was caused to my home. Never came back to complete the job. Gave me numerous excuses. Unprofessional is an understatement. Don't let this man touch your home. No connection of flue liner the potential for a chimney fire was greater after than before. Refuses to refund my money. Show your pictures please so the world can know you are a hack.
