The Dry Pirates

I called the Dry Pirates because the airflow of my vent was restricted. Their technician arrived and quickly checked the vent. He found out that it was compacted with so much lint that's why no air was getting through to the vent exit. After they cleared everything out, I held my hand near the vent and I can now feel the strong airflow from my dryer again. It was so satisfying to see that my vent was fixed!

I was going crazy over this enormous pile of lint that was piling up behind my dryer. Every time I clean my house, I always pull my dryer out, and there's this pile of lint that should not have been there. The Dry Pirates in Northridge explained to me that the lint was backing up and accumulating behind the dryer, it would be taken care of once they cleaned the vent line. Sure enough, when I pulled my dryer out two weeks after their service, it was indeed clean. It feels great when a problem is finally fixed!

The Dry Pirates sent a very polite technician. He was careful and wore shoe covers to protect my carpet. The dryer vent cleaning was excellent. He removed all the dust and left my home clean.

We live in one of the Balboa Highlands Eichler homes with a flat roof. I didn’t realize the roof vent cap for the dryer was crushed by a branch, leaving a bowl for rain where the lint became a swampy, moldy mush. As a student with a busy schedule, I didn't understand why my clothes were still wet after 2-hours. The Dry Pirates visited my apartment and discovered a huge lint buildup blocking the line. After dryer vent cleaning, I can finally complete my laundry in one cycle. They rescued my weekend!
