These guys did a great job replacing my hail-damaged roof, completing the work in 1.5 days. What stands out is that everyone I dealt with was sincerely concerned about my satisfaction. A few issues came up, as happens with any large project, but they respectfully addressed them all without excuses - before, during and after the work was completed. Highly recommended.

When the Derecho hit in Cedar Rapids we were somewhat new to town and had little to no connections to anyone who could help us. Less than several hours after the storm I called multiple roofing companies and had zero call backs several days later. I was lucky enough that Tom with The Edge Contracting, was sitting in his truck at the end of our block so I ran to his window and desperately asked him if he could help me. I knew that he was swamped but he had mercy and came up to look at our roof. By the end of the next day he had sent a crew to tarp our roof. Our home, as many in Ames IA, sustained hail damage in 2018. I requested an Edge rep. stop by and give me a quote. They checked out everything and showed me what they found. They helped me with the insurance company and coordinated related contractor work. Before work began I set timing and completion dates that fit our family needs, including our dogs.They met or exceeded them all!! Now the job is done and we have a new roof, trim, gutters and garage doors. Last week we had 50 mph winds and everything stayed tight and looks good. Great company to work with, walked me through the entire insurance claim process for my damaged home from start to finish. One of their guys met my adjuster and oversaw the inspection. All the damage I pointed out to the project manager from the edge who first knocked my door, was approved. Point being, they say they will commit to you and be there for you the entire way and they are, and have been for me. Their crews only took a day to finish all of our work and I would recommend them to anyone who’s researching their company.
