The Gilder Restoration

Luciano did an exceptional job restoring my antique English convex mirror. The piece had significant areas of flaking gesso and visible deterioration, yet he was able to stabilize the original surface with great care and precision. The level of craftsmanship, patience, and historical respect he brought to the restoration is truly rare. The mirror has been beautifully revived, with its character preserved and its original beauty fully brought back to life. Luciano and his team are masters in their art! Will never trust anyone else’s hands on our furniture. They refinished, reguilded and reupholstered a vintage reproduction piece that has been in my family for 40 years despite having been previously damaged by water and mishandled by two other ‘expert craftsmen.’ The tears in my mother’s eyes as she gazed at her sofa remembering so many special memories said it at: simply the best!

We have a dining room table that was had some water damage a lot of water damage. It was difficult to find a place but the glider restoration was absolutely amazing and did the most beautiful job on our dining room table. We are completely thrilled thank you so much.

Luciano is extremely talented and helpful! He gave me a very competitive price to refinish 6 dining chairs.
