I set up an estimate ($75 cost applied to work done) and received a quote. I was told that if I could bring my door in to be repaired cost of labor would be $20-$40 and if repairs were done on site labor would be $125-175. Due to the weight of my back door, I decided to have work done on site. I was quoted $690~, this had me thinking parts were $500~. 50% was due before and when I went to pay that my receipt showed that labor was going to cost ~$350 (more than the supplies). When I asked why it was higher than I was told originally, they said because it was going to be a 2 hr job for 2 people. I felt very blindsided by this cost as it was never mentioned that range, I was given was a starting cost and could go up depending on the number of workers or time they spent, and it felt like I was

I needed one of the panels of my back door fixed, I was told an estimate would be $75 but that would contribute towards the job if I went with them. I was told if I brought the door in labor would be $20-$40 and if I had them do the labor on site labor would be $120-$150. I was given a quote of ~$800 so I assumed materials were ~$600. After paying though and I received my receipt labor ended up costing more than materials when I asked why it was different from what I’d been told they said that the $120-$150 labor fee is their starting fee for labor done at your location and sorry for not communicating that it could go up. I have been trying to get a estimate for them to screen in my back porch. They came out two times and took measurements. told me that they would call me the next day with estimate. Days went by still no call form them so I called them they told me that they would get back to me. Still no call. this has been going on for a month and a half. I called again and talked to the owner Tony he told me he would call me back with estimate that evening still no call back. To me this is bad business so they are not very liable.
