I'm a realtor servicing the Charleston and Summerville areas. When representing buyers purchasing a home, I suggest that they allow me to schedule an independent inspection on the HVAC separate from the home inspection. On multiple occasions, GOAT Heating and Cooling has discovered issues that a standard home inspection wouldn't have found. This has saved multiple buyer clients of mine from closing with unknown issues and spending money on unexpected repairs or poor performance units post-closing. I contacted The Goat Heating and Cooling based on a recommendation from my neighborhood Facebook group. I live in a newer build that appears to have the "new construction" issues that shouldn't exist on a brand new system if done correctly. My neighborhood is full of people who have HVAC issues. I called today to have someone come out because I wanted to get on a maintenance plan and there has been an increase in humidity in our house since the heat has been on. There are so many options and choices in the HVAC world in Charleston, it's nice to finally find one that cares and isn't out to rip you off and make every penny they can on you. Over the last few days, we had a cold spell here in South Carolina. Our furnace was not working and they were able to come right out and identify the problem and got the furnace up and running temporarily again for us so that we could have some heat. We needed to have an exhaust filter replaced and they gave us a very reasonable quote and were able to come out and replace the part within a couple of days. We are beyond satisfied with their level of expertise and professionalism from the owner to the office staff to the technicians in the field. I would rate them all a 10 out of 10! The gravy on top is that they are a veteran owned company! So happy to support those who supported us!

Absolutely fantastic service! I had a heater/furnace that wasn't working right and Chase was to my house within an hour of my inquiry. He got us back up and warm in the house and serviced both our HVAC units all in one call for a super reasonable price! Looking forward to having them again soon!
