The Home Depot

Was in Newark Delaware area and visited this Home Depot . As always lots of stuff in Home Depot .. went on Black Friday day .. they had some pretty good sale going on . Service was ok. Billing was quick . Lots of parking outside . Paint section was good. Wish the service was quick in pant section. There could be more help in pant section. Garden center was good too.. overall a good experience… 4 stars .

Awesome when you buy the online and pick up at the lockers or inside. Always courteous staff to help you find something or make suggestions. They are a blessing. They work hard to stock shelves and make sure it's clean. They have all kinds of tools, cleaning supplies, catcus and plants, weed wackers , washer and dryers and seasonal things. Paint, ladders and even a candy bar. God bless you all for making my visit awesome.

Store is a joke. Every other Home Depot has been so helpful, but this Home Depot is the worst. Usually go for a tool or a part, but I saw this clearance item that listed as “$30.02 IN-STORE PRICE”. Showed associates and management that this was Home Depot’s website saying this is the price, but they refused to sell it at that price. I only had one set I wanted to buy, out of the 15 they had in stock. Next morning, they were all sold out, and talking with an associate, they knew the item I was referring to and told me they just sold all of them to one guy before I got there. Luckily, the store in PA had a couple left and adjusted the price for my item with no hassle at all because IT WAS LISTED ON THE HOME DEPOT WEBSITE AS THE IN STORE PRICE. Will give every excuse to not help someone just

I went in to get duplicate keys made. I used the self service kiosk, but was given an error. I went over to the key center and there was nothing there to alert someone I needed help so I went over to an associate and requested help. I was told someone would come over soon. I stood around for 10 minutes while a number of associates stood around and looked at me while I waited and others walked by me without a word. I counted 10 different associates who were at any given time near me, but did not acknowledge me while I stood there. I eventually just left the store and decided to go elsewhere. I have never had an experience like this before, but I will not likely return to this location as it was incredibly frustrating.

I spend a lot of time here. The staff is great and I get a lot of useful help. I am definitely a regular so I have gotten to know some of these people well. It's a smaller Home Depot, but still has a decent selection. I don't usually wait long to checkout, sometimes there is a line for returns. This location has helped me a lot.
