The Home Depot

I went to Home Depot on Tuesday afternoon to browse patio furniture and driers and was impressed with what they have I'm stock. The employees seemed friendly and professional. The store looked clean clean, and the outdoor area is spacious. The parking lot is large, free, and had plenty of empty spaces.

I bought carpet with installation from this location in December. They sent in their 3rd party installers last month with the wrong cuts to complete the installation and only completed my living room, leaving the stairs going upstairs to my children's rooms bare and exposed with tack boards. I took off work for this and they rescheduled to finish the job twice now and still have not came and finished the job. I tried to contact management at the store to no avail. This is extremely unprofessional and I will not be doing business with them again. At this point I will likely be going into the store (as their management doesn't take or return phone calls) to demand a refund. Don't do business with this location, they're unprofessional and low brow.

This evening I went in to get a paint sample color match for the first time, so I wasn’t totally sure what I was doing/what I needed. The employee who helped me was rude, unhelpful, and made it feel like I was inconveniencing him. Won’t be returning to Home Depot for my painting supply needs.

It’s always a good experience shopping at Home Depot, but associate Patrick made it exceptional during my curbside pickup of a shower door. He was very polite, professional, and helpful. Thank you so much, Patrick!

Ordered a dishwasher with install. The installation crew denied the install because it was across the kitchen from my sink. I showed them there the hookups were and they then said the shutoff must be no more than 6’ away from the dishwasher. I asked them to check behind the dishwasher and they refused. Home Depot’s install checklist never mentions distance for shut off. Just that shut off must be either at the sink or behind the dishwasher. Called customer service with no help. Home Depot’s “professional” setup is anything but professional.
