It's taken me far too long to write this review, but last year I had a very unprofessional experience with the customer service at this store. Last year I ordered a storm door installation through this Home Depot location. After selecting my materials, and receiving a field assessment, I was quoted for parts and labor, agreeing to a net cost of $423. Which I paid on May 11th. A month after I placed my order, I received an email stating that the job would cost $80 more. After expressing my disappointment with customer service, I was advised to commence with the payment to complete the job. Exactly what you expect from Home Depot. They have enough stuff of adequate quality to make you think the trip might be productive. And yet you arrive to find partial inventory leading to compromise decisions, nobody around to help, and overly long lines at the pro desk, all culminating in your being your own cashier at the self-checkout.

Who knew a Home Depot run would turn into a five-star lunch stop?! 🌮🔥 The food truck in the Home Depot parking lot in Danbury is an absolute hidden gem. We stopped by “real quick” and ended up talking about how good the food was the entire drive home. Fresh, flavorful, and made to order — you can tell they take pride in what they’re serving. The portions were generous, the prices were fair, and the service was friendly and fast. It’s the perfect reward after walking the aisles debating paint colors and power tools 😄 If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and skip the drive-thru — grab something from this truck instead. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re picking up “just one thing” from Home Depot! 🚚✨

I visited this store to purchase some bird food, a new squirrel resistant bird feeder and some ears of corn for the squirrels. I had a very negative experience. I was shocked at how filthy the bird section is. I do mean FILTHY. I had to climb the shelf to reach way in the back to find one that was not filthy. I paid $2 more for the dirty bag of corn than I do at ACE hardware in Bethel. And the bird feeder that supposedly has a locking top to keep squirrels out, is a complete failure. Squirrels have knocked it over and pulled the top off everytime I have tried to use it, eating even the squirrel resistant food with Cajun pepper in it (which they did not have at this store so I ended up having to go to ACE anyway.) I let the guy at the checkout know how dirty the products on the shelf

Just had a washing machine delivered by Home Depot of Danbury. Robert and his colleague were excellent. We had a mishap with our water valve not fully cutting off the water supply, and he got an unexpected shower. He maintained his composure and was very understanding. I couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism of these guys.
