I have a water filtration system that I wanted to attach to a new bathroom faucet but a man who does household projects for me could not get it to attach. I decided to take the faucet for the bathroom and another one for the kitchen, both of which I had recently purchased from Home Depot, to the Seven Corner’s Home Depot on February 15th. Fortunately for me, I came face-to-face with an amazing Home Depot employee, Jose Berrera, and told him I needed to see if one of the several adapters for the water filtration system I had brought with me would work on either faucet. If all effort failed, I would exchange the faucets for ones that would be compatible. This Home Depot has an upstairs floor, where we had to go and get a curtain rod. The staff was helpful and indicated to us where the aisles for drapery. When we got at the aisle, there was also another staff who helped us choose the correct curtain rod. We were in and out in less than 15 minutes. Check-out was also expedient. There were enough and unoccupied self-checkout stations. Overall a positive experience. One negative though was parking is very limited, some of the space taken by Uhaul trucks/vans for rental, and upstairs parking lot was closed or prohibited and this place being at 7 Corners get constant traffic. But with a couple of trips around the parking lot, we were abke to find a space.

Looking for a specific product, and if you look at the Home Depot website, it says they have seven in stock. So I headed to this HD store. Not only are there none on the shelf, but the wrong product is on the shelf where the shelf label shows where it should be. I asked a store associate to help me locate where the stock is likely available overhead and out of reach in a box. I couldn’t see it up there, but I assumed they probably had a box of it up there since their website says they have seven in stock. To be more specific, this was in the paint department, and I was looking for a spray can of Zinsser Bullseye Shellac. I went to the Home Depot in Falls Church to purchase MDF board for a twin bed project, and the customer service experience was extremely disappointing. After spending quite a bit of time trying to find someone to help us, we finally located an employee who called someone from the lumber department to assist with cutting the board. When the associate arrived, he asked if we had already picked out the board. I politely explained that I couldn’t locate it on the wall and was hoping he could help me find it. He responded by saying it wasn’t his department — that he could cut it, but didn’t know where it was located.
