The Home Depot in Glastonbury Pretty good store. The customer service is getting better. Plenty of staff. Able to help. Stopped in to get some electrical tape completely missed the right aisle. a helpful employee was able to direct me. Picked it up went to the self check out paid and left. It is a bit cluttered in there though. Also this store seems to have a very good nursery.

This review is for Michelle who was my cashier today. She is phenomenal! It's a cold snowy day and everyone I've encountered so far has been grumpy. But Michelle was so warm and friendly, it made my day!

I went over to Glastonbury today for a new gas range and microwave and there is a new employee in the large appliances section, Nick. Who went above and beyond to help me through the process. Wasn’t pushy and was there to give me the best fit for what I was looking for. It’s his first day on the sales floor and he’s killing it. There is another employee in the same department, John who was helping Nick with the r process who was also very helpful. If you are looking to purchase a large appliance this weekend seek these two individuals out. Appreciate it!!

I am a contractor i shop here 90% of the time. I will tell you that going forward im getting away from this location. I went in today Sunday to buy full appliances for a new home I built. I waited 1 hour and went to customer service desk 2 times. The employees were more interested in texting on there phone. So I decided to not purchase a full house of appliances from this store. The next thing I went to the register to pay for my items in my carriage and the employee at the registers was on her cell phone. I could of walked out with everything being that she was not watching. I left the manchester store for the same reasons and now glastonbury home depot isn't any better. What's wrong with corporate don't you monitor your stores.

This situation is completely unacceptable and represents a serious safety hazard that could have caused catastrophic property damage or worse. I purchased four ceiling lights from Home Depot just four months ago. Last night, I noticed a strong burning smell coming from one of the lights — even though it was turned off. Upon disconnecting the fixture, I discovered that the back of the light was burned near the circuit board, leaving a visible scorch mark on my ceiling. This defective product could easily have started a house fire. After checking Home Depot’s website, I discovered that the product is no longer listed. When I brought the lights back to the store, I was informed there was a recall due to a safety issue. Despite that, I was told I could only receive store credit because the pu
