The Home Depot

Yesterday I went to Home Depot to return a light that I purchased via the web that was missing the mounting hardware. At the return desk I had the pleasure of meeting Chris. She helped me resolved the issue by walking with me to the aisle to get a new light and do an even exchange. She was courteous, professional and smart and her commitment to customer service was second to none.

We've been taking our daughter to the kids workshop for 3 years now and we've never had an issue. Today, our daughter was excited to build the castle she's been waiting for since she saw it on the calendar months ago. When we arrive at 9:08am, we were told we had to register online and she wasn't allowed to get the castle. What a disappointment since that has NEVER been a thing the past 3 years and it was never communicated before today, when they turned my daughter away. When asked what time they started, they said 9am, yet there were already people walking out with built and painted castles. Other people in line didn't register online and still got the castle. So, which is it? You have to register online or you just get to turn kids away when you want?

Me and my kids come in frequently around the holidays so they can look at the animatronics and everytime we come in the employees are very nice but one lady in particular Ms: Sharon is so wonderful she is always so pleasant and every time I see her she has a cart with a little bag in it filled with toys to give to children, this is the second time we’ve seen her and shes given my son a toy. I just want to say how appreciative I and my kids are of her kindness. I’m sure she goes out her way to go to the store and spend her hard earned money on other peoples children which just makes my heart so warm that there are still such amazing people like her in this world. So thank you again Ms: Sharon you’re amazing and your kindness made our day so much better. Have a happy holiday.

I was there on the evening of 12/17/25 and every employee I interacted with was so friendly. Most notably, Scott in the garden center and a gentleman with a salt and pepper beard (I didn't get his name) who helped me find a rug. Both of them were incredibly proactive in asking if I needed help and were really pleasant to chat with.

So frustrating. Went with a specific purchase intention. The cultivator was behind locked gates so we waited for a little bit and no associate came by. Then we went to the cashier to ask if someone could call a key master back to aisle 18. It seems we were the only ones who heard the call made over the PA. Waited a few more minutes and an associate walked by, we got a curt, “no” when we asked if he knew someone who would have the key. We asked his back as he kept walking by if he could call someone. PA announcement #2. Still no help. Ended up buying the tool online in aisle 18 and walked out without ever being assisted.
