My experience at Home Depot was very positive. The store is well-organized, the aisles are easy to navigate, and finding the products I needed was simple. The rating is for Home Depot contractors service. We used a fence service that came recommended from Home Depot and the experience was terrible! The contractor put the fence up crooked and going into the neighbors yard and he nailed panels into the neighbors house 🤯When we reached out to him initially he claimed he was going out of the country and wasn’t able to fix it…and never notified us of his return so it could be fixed .. fast forward to 9 months later I reach out from a different number and low and behold he answers!! He makes arrangements to come check out the fence to try and make it right and once seeing where his guy went wrong we scheduled a date for the work to be repaired…. He returned, Solo and I kid you not 1 hr into the repair he abruptly leaves… I called and asked was eve

This is the second time I’ve had a serious issue with Home Depot’s paint department, and I’m officially done buying paint here. The first time, I bought a sample color and loved it. I went back and bought a 5 gallon bucket of the same color, only to get home and realize it was a completely different shade. I had already started painting and of course, I was met with resistance instead of accountability and the refund only came after unnecessary pushback. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago. I bought a gallon of “Cracked Pepper” in a specific sheen and loved how it turned out, but I ran short and only had enough for one coat.
