I’ve only had great experiences at this HD but Nick and Steve went above and beyond for me recently. Eddie too. Professional, intelligent and friendly crew who didn’t have an immediate answer but took the time to puzzle it out together (twice) and get me the parts I needed to complete my diy bathroom renovation. Its usually possible to find solutions between ChatGPT and YouTube but when that approach falls short, you need a knowledgeable, supportive team at your disposal. This location has that in spades. So I was standing in the toilet bowl aisle in the Huntington, NY, Home Depot, as I often find myself. Suddenly Eddie Gates walked by and said: 'Hello'. I said, 'Hello, could you help me? I have to buy a toilet bowl and then get it into my car. Is there someone in this department who could help me do that?" "Sure, let me go get a cart, I got you," he said. After a short time Eddie returned with the cart, put the one I chose onto it and followed me to check-out where I made my purchase. He brought it out to my car and placed it into the back of my Mini Cooper, where it just fit. I tried to give him a tip in exchange for his immediate, efficient and friendly help, but he refused.
