I had a very disappointing experience at this Home Depot on Tuesday night, 1/6 while purchasing materials for a bathroom renovation. First time ever and I always shop here. While in the store, I called Home Depot’s 1-800 customer service number to confirm an 18-month interest free promotion on my Home Depot credit card. I was told that the promotion could be applied to my purchase and that a store associate could call in to assist with applying it. I also asked a kind older gentleman at the front of the store, and he directed me to the customer service desk because he even thought they would help. I asked the lumber cutter to cut 4x4 sections down to 3’-5” and to trim off a quarter inch from the edge to give me clean surfaces. I needed ten sections cut from 5 eight-foot boards. The dude cuts an entire foot off one and doesn’t even bother to tell me they have a 1 foot cutting minimum. Then, I have a remaining board that he can’t even cut down to the size I need. I tell him to just cut the rest down to that size and forget about cleaning up an edge. I WATCH HIM cut down every piece without measuring after his cut. I’m already frustrated, I know these things are going to be off measurement and unusable. AND AS HES FINISING, ANOTHER GUY SAYS “HEY, IS THAT SAW STILL WAY OFF”, and he says “”YES, WAY OFF.” You know the machine isn’t right and you’re not checking your cuts?! Thanks for wast

Unfortunately as is normal these days, finding help is near impossible. Staff seems to avoid customers and when you search the isles for a staff member they act like they are doing you a favor. Also, they have little to knowledge of the product. Better off spending a little more and go to Ace hardware, atleast they have great customer service.

This is the location I enjoy going to. Typically they are great ..last week a nice associate helped me save the paint I bought to the system so that I can remember exactly what paint I bought and for what room I used it for, today 12/9/2025 around 5:45pm I was buying paint and ask the guy if he would save my paint choice so that I can remember for future use. He refused because it doesn’t necessarily have any additional paint added to it. My point to him was there are so many different shade of white and this one had a specific name. It’s easier for me to know the exact shade I bought a couple years from now. He refused and it made me upset because it felt like pure laziness

I came to the Home Depot to look for Norfolk small pine trees to plant them in my back yard. I can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience with PETER at the Home Depot! Not only was everything handled with genuine care, but there was a delightful holiday spirit in the air. Peter was incredibly helpful, kind, and even shared a laugh with me over the trees looking a bit ‘halfway to winter hibernation,’ as he joked. He quickly gave them a drink and brought some of them back to life, ensuring they’d be vibrant and ready for new homes by Christmas. I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to come and give these little baby trees a loving home—let’s make sure they’re all planted and thriving in time for the holidays!
