The Home Depot

I love shopping at Home Depot and highly prefer it over Lowe’s strictly because of their friendly and very helpful staff. For some reason, at this location, the experience I get is quite the opposite with certain individuals. It honestly makes me not want to come back to this location again and instead just go to the one over by Merchants Walk. You have some great employees, like Craig (very high praise for him), but then you have others who seriously need training on how to speak to customers. Tonight I was at the store about an hour before closing because I knew it would take me a little while to figure out what I needed for my project. It was a little difficult to find someone at times, but that’s beside the point. Upon checkout, the gentleman at the front — who clearly saw me come i

2 stars because they had wood filler. I stopped at Home Depot today for some wood filler since it is closer than Lowe’s. All the Home Depot employees were too busy on their phones to help customers or even acknowledge them. Every time I go in Lowe’s, Ace, or Harbor freight, the employees greet you and ask if you need help finding anything. They also appreciate people doing business with them when you check out. The 5-10 employees at Home Depot tonight couldn’t care less.

Just came in for some paint for my son room On 12/20 who ever you had over there around 2-3pm need to be trained on how to customer service. Young men asked me do I need help crazy me thinking he was going to help me yes I proceeded to say yes how much is this paint in this color He pointed to all the paint jars in the aisle LIKE SIR YOU WORK HERE NOT ME !! would you care to explain no he did not im asking is it 31,32,34 which one he like over there.. Yes sir you are no help. so I walked up to the customer service desk and asked for help because why would you ask me do I need help if you are not going to help!!! After the paint dept supervisor walked over and EXPLAINED everything that’s all he needs to do not to just point at the whole aisle of paint jars. YOU WORK HERE I DO NOT WORK H

Home Depot in Kennesaw is okay but not great. Some of the staff were helpful, but it took a while to find someone who actually knew where things were. The store is big and has what you need, but customer service could be better. Overall, average experience — 3 stars.

Awesome customer service! I’ve been struggling to hang some floor to ceiling wall to wall blackout curtains. Dalston showed me exactly what I needed to get and how to do it. I can’t wait to get home and finally get these dang curtains up!!
