Customer Reviews
The Home Depot in Kingston absolutely deserves a full 5-star review. This location is one of the cleanest, most organized, and easiest-to-navigate Home Depots I’ve been to. From the moment you walk in, everything feels orderly and well thought out. The aisles are clearly labeled, the products are neatly stocked, and it’s incredibly simple to find exactly what you’re looking for without wandering all over the store. Honestly, I wish every Home Depot was laid out exactly like this one. It would make such a huge difference for customers, especially when you’re in the middle of a project and just want to grab your supplies and get moving. What really stands out is how consistent and user-friendly the layout is. Lumber, hardware, electrical, paint, seasonal items — everything flows in a way th
Out walking a dog again on a snowy day with salt on the ground and Home Depot is a great place to go on a day like that. The boy I’m walking is a little bit shy so it’s good socialization for him and we get to stay out of the cold and off the salt which she doesn’t like on his paws. Everybody at this Home Depot is always super friendly and when you’re walking a handsome dog around you get more than a few googly eyed looks from people. As a bonus, I get to do one of my favorite new hobbies, which is take pictures and post reviews on Google to help my neighbors. As far as the store, bathrooms are always relatively clean and it’s generally the standard mix of product selection that you’d expect at a Home Depot, nothing much different there.
I placed an online order from Home Depot for six foam boards and two 10-foot perforated drain pipes. Every single foam board arrived cracked and broken, and the “perforated” pipes they sent were completely solid with no holes. These weren’t cheap items, and I expected them to arrive in perfect condition. What makes this worse is the exchange process. They can’t even pick up the damaged boards for 2 days, delaying my entire project. And I can’t exchange the wrong pipes; I have to reorder the correct ones and then wait for them to process my refund. Extremely frustrating experience all around. Editing to show Home Depot’s AWFUL customer service experience. Spend 20 mins texting with someone (AI? Bangalore?) and then they ghost me and it starts over. I call the store, and I get the experien
Warning! This place is criminal. I bought an air conditioner there last week and brought it home and went to return it within the time frame of 7 days, which it said on my receipt I could. I brought it back because the thing was broken and even though I had to redo my window I would have had to do that with any other air conditioner but it takes time to put the thing in and then have it rattle ferociously all night. I brought the thing back and of course assumed they would honor the receipt but no they said they have a new policy where is if you take an air conditioner out of the box even if it's broken they will not return it that is not what it says on the receipt but apparently they have some signs in the store so I went to look for the signs they are small and definitely not where I bo
I really like Home Depot, but today changed my impression of it. Today I went to Home Depot to rent a truck. The price was $19.99 for 75 minutes. I went in and said I wanted to rent a truck, and a woman was extremely impatient, slamming her price list down on the table. Then she opened her computer and said it was $27. I just asked why it was $27 and not $19.99. She got angry and showed me her computer screen, saying it was the tax. I looked at the computer screen; the first line was the price, $27, and the fourth line was the tax, $2, totaling $29. I said this was wrong. Unprofessional employees make Home Depot seem like a dishonest and unscrupulous business, not to mention the terrible service. She sought help from the manager, who told me that the $19.99 for 75 minutes was correct, and
