We want to give a huge thank you to the incredible team at Home Depot Long Island City for their partnership and support in helping to beautify our school community! Their hard work and dedication have brightened up the front of our school buildings for our families and staff to enjoy. We enjoyed working with the Home Depot Long Island City team at our Elementary School in Woodside this summer and our Middle School in Astoria this fall. They have everything you need in this giant warehouse! Good customer support and prices are reasonable. Easy return policy. They even carry plants and flowers!! Each ailes are well labeled. They also have about 7 ot 8 self checkout counters which were very easy to use. Highly recommended 👌

The kitchen design service was not great. I made an appointment, did the advance survey and design on my Home Depot account, selected finishes, cabinets, layout. The consultant was very was 10 min late with another customer (sure, I looked around.) I brought a binder with color copies of my swatches, photos of my empty small kitchen space. Consultant: this kitchen is small (yep); you picked everything already (just ideas, I need yours now). “There’s not much we can do with your kitchen. It’s too small. You can tell me what you want, but you really have no choices. See? You just do it the same.” The same 1980s kitchen? No thanks. Cabinetry options surely have changed since 6 rectangles and a sink. Shellies is the best her customer service is incredible she helped me got my order which was 6500. Nobody was in the store to help me but I braced her and she helped me with my order. My experiences with Home Depot can honestly be hit or miss, and I understand that stores are often short-staffed. At times, it can feel hard to get help, and the experience isn’t always the most welcoming. That said, this visit was a really positive exception thanks to a kind associate named Lalita (or something very close apologies if I’m misspelling it). She was incredibly attentive and patient while helping me figure out the right flooring vinyl. Even though the cutting machine was down at that location, she took the time to do all the measurements and math for me, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt prepared before heading to another store.
