We visited the East Cobb Home Depot looking for a very specific item in the lumber department and needed assistance before purchasing. A cashier was kind enough to page for help twice, but no one ever showed up. During that time, multiple Home Depot employees walked past us, and there were several other customers standing around looking equally confused and waiting for assistance. After waiting far longer than reasonable, we gave up and left. We’re now ordering what we need from a different vendor online. I genuinely don’t understand why it’s become so difficult to get basic customer service when help is clearly needed and requested. After three exhausting days of going back and forth between Home Depot and Lowe’s trying to match paint, I was completely at the end of my rope. When I came in to return a custom paint that didn’t match, I explained my frustration to Olivia and showed her the numbers and color information on the lid. Olivia didn’t brush me off—she immediately walked me over to David and clearly explained my situation. David jumped right in, went straight to the computer, and quickly figured out that the issue was simply that the numbers needed to be converted from a 5-gallon formula to a 1-gallon formula. The store manager/operations manger by the name of Josh is outstanding. He assisted me with a minor issue I had in the store. I’ve been a customer of Home Depot since they opened the first stores on Memorial Dr. and Buford Hwy back in the late 70’s. I’ve also customer service take a decline in the stores. I can honestly say that’s not the case with Josh, he’s spot on with great customer service, and knows exactly how to satisfy customers. Home Depot please take care care of people like Josh, they are very rare these days. I’ll definitely be back to this store while I bypass 2 other stores to get there.

Usually have a very positive experience at this home Depot. It's a huge place and has lots of great selections. Must have gone on a down day because there were enough service people but nobody was specifically interested in helping me or other customers wandering around.

I had such a great experience at the Home Depot in East Cobb. I went in to pick up some batteries and get more information about an older carbon monoxide detector, and Michael was absolutely fantastic. He took the time to walk me through different product options, explained everything clearly, and truly went above and beyond to help. At checkout, James was just as wonderful — kind, professional, and an absolute pleasure to interact with. Thank you both for making my quick stop such a smooth and pleasant experience.
