I would give them minus 100 if I could. I called about renting a box truck. I was transferred several times, and then someone picks up, puts me on hold for 10 minutes and finally the pick up the phone and disconnect it. I call back, get transferred several more times and put on hold for ten more minutes. I call a third time, tell the person about about everything and he said he will go speak the person directly. Finally, I speak to the person in rentals (after 10 more minutes), I told him it took 30 minutes to get help, he just says "Ok', not single apology or anything. I tell him I was coming in about 3:30 to rent a box truck, He said "We have a problem, it is first come first serve". Well, I needed to get some paint and I was waiting for someone to come by the paint area and no one was coming it went on 15 minutes before someone was even close working in the area. I went to go find someone to see who was working at the area and I found this woman called Nel. She didn't work in the area and really didnt know how to operate the machine right. She messed on one of the paints I was getting, she made a new one and checked it afterwards to make sure it was the right color. From the time I was waiting and by the time she got done with the paint was 35 minutes at least. I thanked Nel for trying her best. but they need to cross train people on how to properly work on a machine so they know how to work it. Our experience with Ivy on 11/30/25 around 1:45pm was not the greatest. Ivy brushed us off. She wasn’t warm, welcoming, or even tried to help us. The woman in the self checkout lane with the dark hair, helping customers was extremely kind and compassionate.

You would think that one HD would have the same guidelines/rules as the next, no? So why would the HDs in Totowa, North Bergen, Riverdale, Dover, East Windsor and others ALWAYS give a slight discount on floor models when there are no others in stock..... but yet the manager at this one says that they are not going to? When there are NO other stores around (including this one) that has the item in stores, not in stock online to order either. Oh well...maybe this manager will get a gold star from HD.
