The Home Depot

Very clean store. Organized and easy to locate certain items. Parking is very difficult. Unless you have a plaque or contractor. It's not that I don't like Home Depot I just prefer Lowes employees. At least when I ask them for help or advice they are happy to help and go out their way. It just seems like when I'm in this store and trying to find someone in the isle the majority of the time the workers will just tell me a random isle or act like they don't know what I'm talking about. Not every worker but the majority of them. The attendants behind the counters are nice respectful and are good with getting you in an out.

I like building supply stores. I'm constantly doing work around my house so this is a great place to go. Lot cheaper than Ace or some of the specialty hardware stores with a larger selection. Those other stores, though sometimes have better customer service people that'll want to help you. Sometimes you can't find anybody in any of the big box stores. Oh well. If you know what you're looking for, you'll find it.

Well, where to begin. August of 2025 husband and I paid for NEW counter tops. By mid October 2025, NO work had been done and NO ONE had been in contact with us. (Mind you..... we paid up front almost $8,000 ). So we made a trip back to home depot and inquired about how much longer it would take because we were going out of town. NO ONE knew the work had not been done. AT THIS POINT MY KITCHEN HAS BEEN TORN APART AND EVERYTHING HAS BEEN MOVED AS WE WERE INSTRUCTED. The installers came in November. We also bought a brand new range top. We were told by the installers that when the range top got here to just put it in the cut out they made and everything should be good! WELL IT ISN'T! MY NEW RANGE TOP WENT RIGHT THRU THE HOLE! We tried putting the old range back in AND IT ALSO FEL

Wow! Were do I begin?! It's typical to have difficulty finding any employee to help anyone in any DIY store. However, tonight was ridiculous. My wife and I were trying to buy a bathroom vanity which was on the second shelf. I asked for assistance from customer service desk which the woman at the desk made a call.........15 minutes later, I asked again.......same response........Third request, I get a snarky reply with more waiting. Btw, we've been waiting 40 minutes at this point!! Finally, an older gentlemen (military veteran) named Thaddeus actually stopped me and asked if I needed help. I said, Wow! someone that works at Home Depot actually asked if I needed help! Yes!!!! Thank you Thaddeus for the help and thank you for your service!!!! The rest can continue their PAID BREAKS!!!! This is my go to store for the holiday deals. Have to keep check their web sight.. to see what goes on sale and the new products they get in..Ordering on line ,comes with great ease..
