The Home Depot

Home Depot Aurora Village is a large, well-stocked store that always seems busy, which is a good sign of its popularity. Compared to the nearby Lowe’s, they seem to carry a larger amount of inventory, so it’s a great spot if you’re looking for a wide selection of tools, hardware, or home improvement supplies. One of the highlights for me was their new self-checkout system. It’s incredibly fast, and there are plenty of staff nearby to help if you run into any issues. My transaction went faster than it ever has before, which made the checkout experience completely painless. The store is organized, easy to navigate, and the staff are friendly and helpful when you need assistance. Overall, it’s a solid Home Depot location with great inventory, efficient checkout, and reliable.

Every single store employee knew exactly where everything was at Home Depot immediately. I have been to a lot of Home Depot’s, and I have never met a more knowledgeable store team.

I was looking for an area rug and had questions. An employee, who I think may have been helping another customer, quickly ran into 2 employees who were available to help me, so Melissa became my person. She was absolutely awesome, finding the size and style of area rug I needed on the computer. She was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and efficient--Thank You Melissa!

Shout out to Karl who helped me figure out what to get for my drain in my shower. It was a big help and provided great advice. Plumbing is not my forte and the contractors asked me to pick up something out of my realm of expertise so Carl stepped up. Thanks.

This is a typical Home Depot including staff that are not very friendly or helpful. The worst experience of our 90 minute visit was in the lumber department when we ask a young, tall staffer with a scraggly beard to cut a piece of wood. He was completely unfriendly and probably should seek a job that does not allow him to interact with humans. We did have one really positive experience in the paint department with Christina. She was very friendly and helpful. In fact, she was the opposite of scraggly beard guy in the lumber department! She had lots of positive energy and an electric smile and attitude that made our overall visit a positive one! Thank you, Christina….
