While looking at the different storage bin organizer options at my local Hone Depot Store #2551, I decided to ask for some assistance from two employees walking between the indoor plants and storage options areas. Shaquonda O’Neal (store manager) and a fellow employee came over to help. I wanted to know their opinions on how sturdy the model in question would be. The model came with casters. Shaquonda and her fellow employee heard my concerns / needs and directed me to another model which would be better. I had seen a similar item elsewhere for less and shared that. We were shopping for some carpeting to be replaced in our family room and we did an online order. They came out to measure and we did everything electronically. We went into the store to actually make the purchase and we found out that we must've accidentally chosen the wrong store because they didn't have a record of our order. Enter Erica G. in Flooring. She was so helpful in not only helping get our order transferred over to the right store and help us figure out the best carpeting and padding for our room.It took a few minutes to get the order transferred, but she was so friendly and it was a really wonderful experience. Rental department is awful. Rented a tool but it was totally empty of gas. The rental guy told me I could buy a gas can in the store. Upon returning a different rental guy has a huge line of customers and he's outside doing something and then comes inside and futzes on the computer for a minute not acknowledging the huge line. Also, they make you drag all the equipment in and through the front of the store rather than use the door right there that takes you from the parking lot into the rental place. When I came to drop off I let the rental employee guy in and he has the audacity to say "oh yeah, thank you, this is much faster than going around" ....yeah...it is... and you make all of us drag our tools through the busy store.... so dysfunctional Update 29 July 2025 - Still bad. Home Depot’s Shady Pricing Tactics – A Total Scam! I am beyond frustrated with Home Depot’s deceptive pricing practices. We visited the store last week and saw a refrigerator at its regular price (marked with the white sticker), which included installation. We returned three days later, only to find that the same refrigerator was now labeled as “clearance”—yet the price was HIGHER, and installation was no longer included! How is this even legal?
