This Home Depot in Manahawkin might feel outdated, almost like it has been standing here forever, but honestly that is part of its charm. You can tell the building has some age on it, and it is not flashy or modern in the way newer stores try to be, but it gets the job done every single time. The layout is familiar. You know where things are. Nothing feels overdesigned or confusing. It feels like a place that has been working hard for a long time and never forgot its purpose. What really keeps this store solid is the people. The service has always been friendly, helpful, and straightforward. You can actually ask someone a question and get a real answer instead of a shrug. I updated my bathroom over this winter. Everybody at Manahawkin Home Depot was knowledgeable and super friendly. I want to personally thank Kevin in plumbing. He knew what I needed to plumb my new soaking tub before I even asked. Everything worked out perfect. Thanks again Kevin.

Home Depot is usually pretty good, can usually find what I need there. These days there’s plenty of help although not all of this is very useful. Nice to be able to go to one place to get everything that you need.

Do not buy any appliances or warranties. Home Depot sold me a 3 year warrenty on my refrigerator but did not add it to the existing one year warrenty. It should have stated 3 years total, which really means an extended 2 year warrenty. Home Depot does not help you if something goes wrong, they tell you to call All State. I called All State only to have them tell me that My receipt does not exist in their system. I also called LG about the microwave I purchased that had a door that I could not open since it was against the wall so it did not have room to open. I tried to call LG to see if I can return it, this was only one month old when I called. LG service department kept me on the phone for over 6 hours and transferred me to someone else every about 30 minutes. We ended up taking

Don’t do flooring with them. They send subcontractors like ACS American Carpet Solutions that can’t repair subfloors, are lazy, incompetent, and rude. ACS refused to do my install after showing up on the day of the install. I’m glad they refused to do my install. Probably saved me from a headache and looking at a crappy job the next 10 years. Update July 20, 2025: Home Depot’s response and offer to make things right below was pure deflection and theatre for all the potential customers/victims that may read my review.
