Absolutely unacceptable experience. I waited over 40 minutes for a forklift operator to help me with a large item, and no one ever showed up. I asked multiple staff members and got zero response or action. The lack of communication and customer service is shocking. If you’re buying anything that requires assistance, good luck — you’re on your own. Do better, Home Depot.

My experience with a furnace installation through Home Depot was disappointing. This project involved installation of a residential oil furnace performed by Home Depot’s authorized contractor, Pro Energy Solutions. Following the installation, I encountered an oil system issue involving the flow/de-aerator component, which required multiple service visits. Despite repeated attempts to obtain a clear resolution, the issue remained unresolved. Communication and follow-up were inconsistent. After receiving an estimate related to correcting the issue, I did not receive clear guidance regarding next steps. Today I called and had the pleasure of speaking with Ellie (I’m hoping that I have the correct name) who helped me out tremendously in finding some plumbing supplies that I needed. She was not able to reach anyone in the department so she actually took my phone number, went to the department and found the supplies and then called me back with the sku numbers so I could order the correct parts that I needed. She was so very helpful and went above and beyond to assist me. Y’all have a good one there!!! (I would also like to thank Angel and Zoe who helped me figure out who assisted me earlier. Such wonderfully helpful individuals!!!)

For the amount of Home Depots, this was is by far one of the cleanest and most organized locations. The time period I went (around 830am) was not busy compared to other area locations. I was able to find what I needed eventually as the organization of the store was structured different than other locations too. Unlike some other locations, there were plenty of support staff present in the case I had to ask a question.

I want to give a huge shout out to Frank in the paint department. He has been helping me quite a bit lately so I really just wanna say that if you get a chance, please go and stop by the paint department. If you need anything make sure you go to Frank! Genuinely clean store and well organized. There is always someone there to help you or give you directions around the store. The person working the paint counter today was very helpful with my latest project.
