The Home Depot

I go to this store mostly for paint. But, I also use them for appliances. I have Samsung smart appliances and I have luckily purchased the 5 year insurances. Home Depot always has the most competitive price and the local store can get the item I want to me quickly. I just had been refunded for the whole amount on the Samsung smart frig because it lasted shy of 4 years and I was able to purchase a new one quickly with the money they gave me. Win win! Behr paint as well is a great company and great product if you purchase the right one. I will mention, do research with paint before you buy. I have bought here and wasted money because the base and finish I bought was not sufficient. Behr literally felt it wasn't good and stood by their warranty and sent me their best paint to repaint my whole

I went to Lowe's to buy a DeWalt XR Drill that was listed at $149 . I was on hold for almost an hour , dealt with a person in the tool department who didn't want to do his job and a manager who refused to honor the online price which is false advertisement . I then went to Home Depot in Vero Beach and immediately had very quick and amazing customer service . Kristin and Dimitrius were extremely helpful and bent over backwards. They tried to find me a comparable drill with that same price. I ended up getting it a little cheaper at Home Depot . I will be going to Home Depot from now on just due the way I was treated by management at Lowes. I will never go there again . Kristin and Dimitrius have turned me from a Lowe's customer to a Home Depot customer !

Lowe's has a better return policy on appliances. If you purchase an appliance with your Lowe's credit card, you have 90 days to return the appliance unlike Home Depot credit card, you only have 48 hours. BUYERS BEWARE I recently bought a Whirlpool 24in Built-in tall Tub Dishwasher with 3rd rack and the top 3rd rack is not cleaning underneath the bowls because there is no spin thing underneath that 3rd rack BUYER'S BEWARE!!!! Home Depot only has a 48 HOUR RETURN so I'm stuck with this juck. Maybe people need to buy from appliance stores only!!!! I also purchased an electric top stove and the top of the middle of the stove goes inward like someone stood on it and when I use oil in my pan it all goes to one side of the pan. This is the 3rd time I’ve had to waste more than 1 hour circling back to this store to make an exchange. The customer service/stockers never seem to check returns before they go back on the shelves. I bought a 5 piece epoxy floor coating kit and once I get back to the site and open it, there’s only 2 of the 5 pieces included. I called customer service to explain the issue. The lady on the phone cut me off, wouldn’t let me finish speaking, and transferred me out to the paint dept where, of course, they couldn’t help with that issue. -_- Duh, that’s why I called customer service. If you don’t mind mystery boxes that MIGHT contain all the correct parts and a little disrespect on the side, this is a great store to visit.
