I recently purchased carpeting for my bedroom and stairs from The Longest Yard, and the experience could not have been better. From start to finish Jeanette and Robert were professional but friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to please. The store is well stocked and organized and immaculately clean. Jeanette ordered samples of ALL the carpets I liked (and there were a lot!) and helped me choose the perfect carpet. Robert and his coworker did a great job on the installation of both carpets. They were on time, quiet and worked until the job was done. I highly recommend The Longest Yard for your carpeting/flooring needs. I will definitely use them again if the need arises!

Wow wow wow is all I can say. This business is a husband and wife team and they are just above and beyond the greatest people I’ve ever met. They were so kind and helpful and truly work hard to keep you within budget. I was replacing carpet on the stairs and landing and putting LVT “wood” flooring in one bedroom of a tenant unit and they totally understood what I was looking for and made it happen. I’m not great at this kind of stuff (picking floors and colors and aesthetics). Jeanette was so patient and kind. She would always text me back IMMEDIATELY to answer any questions I had and this level of customer service is just unmatched. I was told my flooring would take 2 days to install, but in the end Robert was able to get a helper to come with him for the day and so they wound up getting

Jeanette and Robert were such a pleasure to work with. As a first-time home buyer and with little to no experience in flooring, I felt so comfortable putting my trust into them. Jeanette became my personal flooring therapist as I of course second guessed each decision I made because I wanted it to be perfect. Thankfully, they are both perfectionists and wanted me to be happy with the outcome. In full transparency, I did not get any other quotes from other flooring companies or big-boxed stores because I did not have the time, and from the day we chose the floors to install day it was less than 1 week. Robert installed the floors in 2-3 days and they turned out beautiful. We also planned to replace the carpet on our stairs, and after installing the wood floors, we realized the stair carpet

As I read all the reviews for the Longest Yard, I knew this company was the right fit for my job. Having experienced some hiccups and not so great quality carpeting in the past, I didn't want to go through the same experience. I didn't even shop around for pricing because I wanted to pay for exceptional service and quality. As soon as I called, Jeanette answered in a pleasant manor and easily booked an appointment to have measurements taken at my home. Robert came earlier than expected and was able to provide me with a quote immediately. We then scheduled an appointment in their amazing showroom in downtown Nutley, both my wife and I sat down with Robert to go over styles and color carpet. Robert was very helpful in assisting us make a decision. Most importantly, it fit in our original bud
