The Lumen Parking (Propark)

This is the worst parking garage in the history of parking garages. I transferred garages after one of the managers (Mehdi El Jamali) told me that they finally set up EV charging. You can imagine how annoying it was when I learned that Medhi lied and EV charging was NOT ready after switching garages. I’ve contacted them multiple times about this, and they have minimally followed up with me. It’s been about two weeks and I still don’t have access to charging despite paying extra for the service. These idiots have been scrambling to trying to figure out how to initiate this inane charging process. Most recently I was told I needed to download an app, set up an account, and input a credit card so that I could pay for kW charging. UMMM NO, I already paid a premium for a parking spot with EV ch

I couldn't disagree with the negative reviews more. The staff has been nothing but courteous and professional since I moved in. They had one bad apple working for them in the evening and since he was removed it's been a great experience. Ask for my car at anytime of the day and it's always waiting when I arrive. Alvaro the Manager always greets me and my guests happily and makes feel like he has known us for years. All these negative reviews seem to be written by the same person Obviously someone with vendetta and too much time.

These reviews are spot-on and reflect my own frustrating experience at this garage with my black Jeep. My left bumper was damaged, and my left door was swiped, yet the staff's rude attitude and refusal to assist left me stunned. They didn’t even give me a claim form to report the damages they caused. To make things worse, they lie about not taking reservations. It's shameful that a customer like myself has to resort to Google to voice these issues. I urge others to avoid parking with Propark here choose Skyline instead to steer clear of similar problems. I’ve been through this myself; they don't even offer EV charging and insist on debit card payments. Do not park here! This is the worst place to leave your vehicle. Not only did they damage my mom’s car, but they also failed to report the incident. The staff is extremely unprofessional and rude. Despite the damage caused by their employee, they refused to waive the parking fee. On November 2nd, 2025, at around 2:44 Pm, a staff member named Alavaro was particularly disrespectful and hostile towards me. He did nothing to help resolve the situation. Without a doubt, this is the worst parking garage I have ever encountered.

Avoid This Garage – Not Reliable for Residents When I parked here, this garage was not 24/7. They advertised opening at 6:00AM, but the parking attendant didn’t arrive until 6:40AM. For a residential building parking garage in Long Island City, not being 24/7 was incredibly inconvenient. The manager was unprofessional and even accuses customers of lying. This awful customer service makes this garage unreliable and untrustworthy. ⚠️ If you’re searching for a dependable NYC parking garage, I would avoid this one.
