The Mulch Yard

Have used the mulch yard many times in the past 3 years and am always pleased with the pricing and service.

I called to ask a simple question about whether they accept dirt and clay. The woman who answered responded rather dismissively, saying, “We’re a mulch place—I don’t know how I would make mulch out of dirt and clay.” I found the tone to be unnecessarily rude for a basic inquiry. That said, she did point me to another location that might accept what I had, which I appreciated. For that reason, I’m leaving a 3-star rating—some helpfulness, but not the best customer service experience.

I go here all the time. Always a good experience. Family owned and operated. Girl at the desk is awesome and easy to work with.

Every time I visit in the afternoon between 2pm and 4pm this place is closed, yet the web says they're open till 4pm. Also this mulch company has no weekend hours - that's insane! Hopefully they'll get the help they need and/or commitment to their schedule in the near future...😳 After talking with the customer service person / bobcat operator at this business, I better understand their challenges. I'm sure their service will improve! Hang in there...😉

I've tried twice to drop off yard waste with no success. The first time they closed early after I had called to verify hours. The second time I drove over because no one answered the phone (and voicemail is full), when I arrived I was told I couldn't drop off because they didn't know where "she" was to process my drop off. Half star for someone at least acknowledging my presence after standing there for 5 minutes to tell me no one there could help me.
