The Pool Place

We bought a house with an older pool. I called 4/14 and requested someone to come out to diagnose first and then repair our pool lights that weren’t working. I was asked to send them pictures of the existing lights and did so the same day. Never heard from them until I reached out. I was told it’s their busy season (which I completely understand) so I waited patiently for them to reach out and schedule service. Finally on 7/08 I get a call asking if I “still need service”. That’s 85 days since I initially reached out. I like doing business local whenever possible but I also like doing business with people that want my business. I have since had excellent service from Pinch A Penny.

These folks are awesome at what they do! I have had my salt water pool for 11 years. I needed some maintenance work done on my sand filter. They came out and serviced my filter a day later. I trust their recommendations! The Pool Place has kept my pool looking brand from the beginning!

I had them do extensive work on my pool some years back and they did a poor job. For months I had them telling me that they would come fix the problem. It was always “we will be there tomorrow” but they would never show. Finally after several months they came back and did a sloppy repair job that didn’t last past the next year. Use someone else for your pool. ADDITION TO MY REVIEW-The owners responded to my previous review alleging that I had the wrong Pool Place because I reviewed them from out of state. I do not have the wrong company. I lived in Bastrop Louisiana at the time that I received poor service and the runaround from this company. I stand on what I said. They did a bad job of service with my pool. I have never forgotten it.
