THE PUMP MAN - Kappus Well Pump & Water System Services

Last winter, my water inexplicably stopped working. My fear was every homeowner's fear when that happens in the winter: my pipes had frozen. Not knowing what to do I took a look at the water tank and saw Kappus' name, logo, and phone number in red and white on the bright blue tank. I immediately called them and about 2 hours later had the nicest people steam thawing my line. Another 2 hours later and I had water. Cut to yesterday when, once again, my house suddenly loses water. Another call to Kappus gets someone here within the next hour and a half to assess the situation and let me know the pump died and needs to be replaced. My water went out the night before Thanksgiving. I waited till the Monday after to call because I didn’t want to burden anyone. I called Kappus bright and early Monday morning and they were here an hour later. They were knowledgeable and worked with a quickness, and even crawled under my house which is a literal belly slide crawl space to rule out possible issues. Within 15 mins of being here they already knew what the problem was. My well pump 220 feet down had met its demise. They then got to work and a little over an hour later I had water. Yes!!! I’m so glad I had gotten the pleasure of meeting such great knowledgeable people that could do what they did and fast. Thank you.

Tristan and Jess came out to answer our questions as we were new to well water, provided great detail in the discussions of our needs and were great to work with for our tank and filter replacement. Extremely prompt returning our call and service was prompt. Highly recommend!

This review posting is very unfortunate as I have never had this experience with Kappas before and they have been to my house multiple times and have always been helpful. Sunday of this week our water stopped working. We had already been experiencing some issues and had changed out filters ourselves and had called kappas that came out to look and didn’t charge us to do so. So Sunday with no water we called and were told someone would be there Monday morning to check. Two workers came and discovered our well pump had died. We were quoted at a cost of 6500-8500 to replace (which after some research have discovered that quote is outrageous). They started to pull out our pump but a few minutes later told us it was stuck and they would need a different machine but because of where our pump was
