Jerry and his crew are superior craftsmen! We are so thrilled with our gorgeous new kitchen, it's hard to believe it's in my home. Jerry sat with us and listened to what we needed and the design we were hoping to achieve. He tweaked until we were satisfied. I highly recommend The Shop Kitchen and Bath by Hankins & Associates. Jerry is the owner who designed and built our custom bathroom vanity himself. The double vanity is absolutely beautiful! It was meticulously made and is of exceptional quality with solid wood and a custom stain. Jerry was very informative throughout the entire process and ensured all of our needs were met in terms of functionality and aesthetics. He presented us with several designs and worked with us to finalize the vanity. He has an eye for design and was immediately able to tell us which wood color stain and hardware color we should go with based on our bathroom shower and floor tiles. He is a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional and easy to work with. For me the most outstanding asset were his creative solutions and aesthetically appealing ideas. His level of expertise goes well beyond a simple craftsmen although the attention to detail and quality were always first rate. I appreciated his knowledge of trends and styles. Jerry was referred to us by our township inspector who raved about his quality craftsmanship after we had a few bad experiences getting bids from local designers. We had the best experience working with Jerry on our kitchen design. We joked early on that he was part designer, part marital therapist as my spouse and I had conflicting ideas about what we wanted to make our vision come to light. He took the time to listen to our overall vision and found a way to bring together what was most important to each of us. I can certainly say we were likely not the easiest clients to work with, but his patience and attention to detail really brought together our dream kitchen.
