The Window Source Of Central Iowa

The Window Source Company (Tom Carmody & Kent Reams) installed windows and siding on our home. The windows are substandard with imperfections and fingerprints inside of the glass panes. The siding installers (names unknown ) left gaps in the siding. They also installed the garage lights crooked on the front of the attached garage. (The installers also left us a mess to clean up) I have called Roberta (the Window Source office lady and mother of Kent Reams) many many times to no avail. No one has ever called us back! This is a pathetic fly by night company that uses false office addresses to avoid persecution and creditors. The pictures on the web site are fake! These guys should be in jail! One star is too much credit for these scam artists! Avoid them like the plague!!

We have had several windows installed from the Window Source of Central Iowa. These are great windows that not only look great, work great, but are also a great price! Our kitchen window was replaced this fall and been a major improvement!

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. This company will not stand behind their so called "No Fine Print Lifetime Warranty" We had 12 windows that were installed in 2021. After the first install, we noticed right away that several windows had glass defects - it was a painful process to get them replaced. Then we noticed in Sept 2024 that another 5 have glass defects and Roberta Reams and Tom Carmody will not return calls or return emails. We are stuck with these defective windows in a beautiful great room. Avoid this company - they are also known as Iowa's Best Windows. NOT AT ALL THE BEST.

Bought windows 3 years ago and still wont fix poor install job. Inside window trim is coming off a few windows because of poor install from the owner Kent Reams himself and every winter I have frost around the window trim pieces around multiple windows because of poor install(see pictures). Don't waste your money with this company, find a professional window company.

We absolutely love our new windows and patio door. The crew who came to our house were professional, personable, polite. They got to work and stayed with the job until it was finished. Their work ethic was on point. From the initial contact, estimate and installation, it was an enjoyable transaction. The price was very fair and materials are top shelf. I would definitely recommend them to others. We had a construction glitch (no fault of Window Source) and they resolved the issue for us which wasn't part of the initial estimate. Thank you so much for going the extra mile. Seriously folks, if you need windows, you need to give Window Source a call.
