A couple years ago, I had gotten some quotes for window replacement, but no one could seem to talk to me about the specifics of how the work would be done, trade offs between this window or that, what we should expect from the whole process --- basically the people that came out could only give a quote for some windows, not explain why, and that was it. For such a big purchase, we didn't feel comfortable without understanding more. Fast forward to this year and we thought we'd give it another shot.
