Theater District Garage - Entrance 4

We’ve been attending the ballet at Wortham since it opened in 1989. Never in 37 years has it been as difficult as it was to exit the garage as it was tonight 3/7/26. We were able to back out of our spot, but sat less than a car-length from our parking spot for 30 minutes - literally moving nowhere. We could tell that another show finished about 20 minutes after ours - all of those folks also came out to their cars and entered the fray. People were driving crazily (across parking spaces, cutting very close to other cars) and it was a dangerous situation because of the frustration that was building. We called the parking garage office and they said 4 shows finished at the same time. That’s not an excuse - that is poor planning. You know well in advance when that is going to happen. Hire eno

Great parking location, clean and well lit. Excellent access to Jones Hall. A little pricey.

In my situation in early August, I chose this theater district entrance 4, to be the best point of entry from Hwy 45 freeway, in order to park near the Bob Casey Federal Court house one block away. EXPECT to pay $20 even though they advertise other amounts in lieu of the all day rate of $20. I was released by the court, after only three to four hours and prompted to pay by their gated exit by card, without exact knowledge, how much this garage would charge my card beforehand. In a roundabout way, its much easier to enter this garage than exiting without any options orher than producing a valid debit or credit card. No options suck! They are keeping the lower level parking structure and redoing the upper deck. Looks pretty good so far. I’ve parked here throughout the construction to go to the movies every now and then.
