Theater District Parking Garage

Green garage was not too crowded and the best garage for events at Bayou Music Center if you’re going to be doing the 40 Below Lounge and event at BMC. My only complaint is that they made it a little confusing when it came to going to 40 below which is quite literally below the whole building, so you’ll have to park in a designated area for easier access. If you purchased parking before event online (like ParkWhiz) make sure you open your email to obtain a QR code for parking attendant to scan and give you a ticket to place on your dash. You do need that ticket to exit.

Convenient location to many things around, lots of parking space, average price for the city. Always clean and have a few elevators.

We have parking due to working downtown and it’s easy getting into, however the arms don’t want to open when trying to exit- super inconvenient, especially when visiting for an event holding up traffic!

Excellent parking garage. Plenty of room to park. Parking spaces are decently sized. The lot is clearly marked and easy to follow/understand. The height tolerance is 6’7”. The parking spaces are color coded to identify at a glance if there are open spots. Green are open, red are occupied, and blue are available handicap spots (which turn red when occupied also). The lot is credit card only to pay. There are terminals throughout to pay. If you’re in the area and need a place to park, this is the place to go.

Much better signs pointing specific venues/events. Attentive attendants in attendance... NOTICE: As of my last visit (9-13-25) the weekend price has gone up from $15 to $18 per event.
