Jim came out to repair my garage door. From the moment I called for the appointment to the moment Jim left the service exceeded my expectations. When I called for the appointment we went over a few troubleshooting ideas to try before scheduling an appointment which I greatly appreciated. Jim contacted me prior to arrival to let me know he was on his way. Jim arrived promptly and started work immediately. He quickly knew the potential issues and started investigating them quickly. He made the necessary repair with supplies he had in the truck so no downtime required for part retrieval. After repairing the issue he inspected and did maintenance on the door. I left a message before they opened today saying that my door was stuck halfway and I could not get it up or down Trying not to express panic, I said that it was not an emergency but I wanted to get on their service list. Emily called me shortly after they opened (7:30AM) and assured me that these things happen in this weather. It was 7 degrees when I called. She assured me that it was very likely fixable and could get someone out within 45 minutes. She said if I sent pictures, they could be sure the parts needed would be on the truck. Thompson Garage Door & Openers is a wonderful business. They initially installed three garage doors at our house a few years ago and recently came back out to do some maintenance and new openers. Thompson uses and installs a great product, very affordable and customer service is great. A great experience all around.
