They’re not a professional company. The standards they set for quality of product and service deserves less than a 1 star review. Don’t recommend them to anyone to purchase marble or install it on your counter tops it’s not very satisfying for the price you pay for the material and installation. Satisfaction is not high on their priority. So seek elsewhere for all your Stone & Marble needs. The workmanship and craftsmanship leaves very little to be desired. I’m not the customer but my Daughter is and she spent countless hours trying to get Thompson’s to make things right with her countertops. They did next to nothing to satisfy her demands as a customer and therefore are not worthy of any kind of positive review. BUYER BEWARE!! If I could give them ZERO STARS I would! This company should be shut down by Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau. They installed a $15,000 Quartzite island in my new home that had a 25-inch crack running a few inches in from the edge where people sit. The most noticeable and vulnerable place. It was not a natural fissure as they claim. It was a break that went completely through to the underside, and they tried to repair it to hide it. They would not replace it, provide a refund, or issue any credit. The owner failed to attend the meeting to assess his company's workmanship, knowing it was horrible. I'm struggling to give them a 2. They mismeasured a couple places and now I am stuck with wide gaps between counter and refrigerator and stove. Even worse, they left the ears off on one side of the shelf. Their only response to me was "You signed off on the template plan." The quartz countertop itself is nice looking but it is sitting on shims. Customer support (William) didn't care or couldn't be bothered with my concerns. Their workmanship and support are crap. The quartz product is very nice.

Noah and John did my countertop install at my house in Oak Island. They did a great job and the end result looks fantastic. They were very courteous and polite and were very detailed. I would highly recommend them!

Their website says they are open on Sundays from 10–2 (today’s date is 3/01/26). I drove from Pawleys Island to their facility to look at and take pics of stepping stones for my client. They are closed and nobody is here. Thanks a lot… grrrr!!
