Thornton Flooring

Had a great experience with Thornton. I needed to get my small house done shortly after I had closed on it .Everyone else said it would be 4 to 6 weeks to install. Thornton made it happen in less than a week. Installers did a great job and were easy to work with. I also felt the price was reasonable.

Oh where to start?!?! I stopped in with my husband, we talked to Matt Swift for assistance. He scheduled for someone to come to our house to measure for carpet, pad and vinyl planking. They came out and measured. They ordered double the carpet and pad than was needed. The vinyl planking was mostly thrown together from other orders so it did not fit well together being from different batches. I had 3 boxes worth of broken planks. 4 extra boxes on top of that. I have been contacting them almost weekly since December to get a refund for all of the extra supplies they charged me for that I did not need and returned. Everytime I call there is some excuse as to why Matt does not have an answer on a refund. I finally got a partial refund. They refunded me for the carpet and some of the planking.

I am a property manager at the Gatewood , Estates and Prairiewood townhomes in North Sioux City, I have been using Thornton Flooring from the time of started and currently. I highly recommend this place as they do a fantastic job, Joe always communicates with me regarding any services I may need and is prompt to get the work done.

I am sorry I am not able to give 5 stars. I have a customer service issue. Tile and Wood flooring installed November 2023. Quality of materials was excellent, quality of work was excellent except for one issue. The threshold needed to be reworked as it wasn't installed as instructed. It is now March 2024 and it has not been addressed. I call at least once a month but have gotten no action. You could call me a frustrated customer. My beautiful floors aren't beautiful yet because of the cardboard over the threshold so no one brakes an ankle when they walk over it. UPDATE. Thorton contacted me and has completed the job. The proper threshold now completes the installation and the floors are beautiful.
