One point to note: number is to a call center that contracts with repair people. That's why it's 24/7. My response with the call center was actually pleasant, and they scheduled a repair appointment right away. The problem was the repairman with whom they contracted. The repairman called before even coming out to our home, saying that we needed a specific part repaired. He had not even stepped foot in the house, let alone looked at the washer. He was incredibly consescending, and wouldn't answer our questions. For the sake of Thurmont Appliance Repair, I hope that they stop contracting this jackass. We cancelled our appointment immediately: we aren't going to trust a so-called "repariman" who won't even look at the appliance before suggesting a costly repair. UPDATE: Friends recomm

Prompt service! They were at my doorsteps 20 minutes after hanging up! Same day service rate was reasonable. My LG dishwasher is working again without a problem! I highly recommend.

Required a credit card to reserve an appointment and refused to call my insurance company after diagnosing the problem. My insurance company pays 100% and they can't even make a call to them, while I am paying them in full..Obviously don't need this business..Go to Sears instead.

I called to get a ballpark number for a "replace ball-bearings on a washing machine" job. The operator said, "I'm not a tech, we need to have a tech come to your house, and you have to pay $60 before we can quote anything." I suppose they have done this kind of job before, and could give me at least a minimum number? Anyway, I said, "You won't get my business without a little bit of information." He replied, "Then we are not interested, goodbye." Buyers beware - rude on the phone, and you will pay a fee to find out what a standard job costs from them.

I had a repair guy who came and fix my dishwasher. My dishwasher was still leaking after he change one of the parts and he told me that another part needed to be change. Paid him in full through PayPal for the other part to be replace but after I had to call him 2 weeks later to find out part was back ordered. Canceled the order and 3 weeks later I haven’t receive refund.
