Avoid this company! My home warranty company selected them when I had an AC problem last September. We went around for two months and they could never diagnose the problem correctly and submit what was needed to the warranty company. My issue was reassigned and finally diagnosed and fixed by a competent company in December. Originally I paid my deductible to Tidewater as outlined in my contract. With nothing ever done or fixed and my claim reassigned, I thought I was done with Tidewater. Then, in December before Christmas, Tidewater sent me a bill for over $800. I immediately sent an email to the address in the invoice. I also copied my home warranty company and told Tidewater that they are contracted with them and to pursue appropriately. We recently signed up for an HVAC tune up at Home Depot and they sent out ARS who told us our unit was too old, covered in mold and needed to be replaced completely. Then we called Tidewater for a second opinion. They came out and were SO amazing. I cannot say enough how much of a relief it was to have them just clean what needed to be cleaned and treated and confirm that nothing needed to be replaced. They were incredible. We will never not be their customer now. They saved us the headache of having to figure out how to pay for a new unit when our TRANE was perfectly good still. We so appreciate them! Honest, punctual and trustworthy!

I am really surprised with the negative reviews. Our blower went out and we had to go through our warranty company who contracted Tidewater to service it. 1st they arrived a day early there were 2 of them Brian and Corey. They asked me what was going on and they both listened to everything I said and then they went to work to figure out the issue. They were super nice and they even interacted with my kiddos who were being super nosey. They took the time to explain things to them which I thought was so sweet. After they confirmed it was the blower they said they would ask there office assistant to put a rush with the warranty company for approval. I also had to call her to make a payment for the visit and when I did the lady I spoke with was so nice and we even had a good laugh when

Tidewater Heating and Air Conditioning provides excellent service. Mr.Marty was our service provider. He had over 20 years of experience in HAVC. He inspected our air conditioner/heating unit. Very unprofessional. I called on a Thursday needing an appointment urgently (infant and 85-90 degrees outside), they said Monday was the earliest they could work me in, but could call back Friday morning early to see if there were any cancellations, I was so grateful! I called Friday morning and was told no cancellations, but she took my name and number and agreed to call me back if there was anything open. Towards the end of my appointment window on Monday, I called to see if the technician was arriving late and was told they didn't have any openings and asked if they could squeeze me in on Wednesday.
