POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ONCE THE JOB IS DONE Tikal installed Hardie board siding to our entire house 4 years ago, which came with a 30 year warranty. We have a piece of metal flashing under our bedroom window that’s come loose and is blowing around and making a lot of noise. I’ve been trying to have someone from Tikal come out and look at the flashing and repair it. It’s been almost 4 months and though I’ve been in contact with 2 different people from Tikal (one of them is an owner of the company) and they’ve been telling me they’d take care of it, nobody has been out to our home. FOUR MONTHS of waiting and being ignored. I finally decided to just pay a local contractor to make the repair, which took less than ten minutes. This builder is great! We had signed our papers, bought out house. The deal was done. We bought a fridge that had dimensions that were supposed to fit in our fridge nook, but the fridge dimensions were about a half inch larger than advertised. Tikal came and modified the fridge nook free of charge. This builder doesnt abandon you and the homes they build dont cut many corners. I am very happy to be living in a Tikal home!
