We are thrilled with the recent addition to our home in Doylestown, PA. We hired Tilghman Builders for our project, a 1,000 square foot addition that included a basement, increase to our family room, primary bedroom, primary bath, and walk-in closet, a 100 square foot addition to our laundry room, and an 800 square foot patio. We met initially with Eric Tilghman, CEO and Joanne Tilghman, Designer in mid-December 2024 to discuss our project scope, preliminary layout, and costs. We used Tilghman Builders for a fairly major renovation of our home. We replaced our roof, and a new HVAC system for the second and third floors, and remodeled the second floor to turn a bedroom into an ensuite closet and bathroom for the master bedroom. Design services really helped us picture what the space was going to look like including the new tile work, fixtures, vanity, and shower. Tilghman connected us with local show rooms so we could pick out everything in person. With any big project, there were some hiccups such as changing the HVAC routing, leveling floor joists for tiling, and electrical and plumbing extra work.
