TLC Landscaping & Lawncare

TLC Lawncare has been an absolute nightmare. We've owned our home for 8 years and completed all seasonal maintenance ourselves. Earlier this year, around March we decided to use a third party as our kids are older and less time is available to care for the lawn. In preparation of this we selected TLC Lawncare and well, let the pics speak for themselves. I am so embarrassed and given this group all season to make things right. I finally gave up last week and have been working weekly to revive our once prized lawn. It seriously looks like we've been in a drought and all they placed on the grass were weed seeds. It's embarrassing.

Had TruGreen, which did excellent job with weeds and grass feed but stopped them due to agressive sales. Started TLC within first two services noticed weeds everywhere. Gave them opportunity to rectify with additional service and follow complaint, weeds started covering my yard significantly. Looked at the chemical breakdown.. literally less than half ounce of treatment chemical for more than half acre. Agree with several of the reviews i was left with more weeds than i started with. I called and let them know i was not happy, though they didn't execute what the service agreement was for, weed and feed, they were not going to refund their rendered services though it was as effective as spraying water on my lawn. I began the year with high hopes to eradicate weeds that I had to deal with in the past however my experience with TLC has been worse than I could have imagined. 3 applications applied, not one removed the weeds from my lawn and the last application actually killed a large section of the grass in my yard. Left repeated emails for someone to contact me to no avail. Buyer beware

They did not tell me they were coming. Left a flyer on my door. Only did front lawn they said When I called to ask why not front and back yard they said they would come back, but would call first. They came back, no call, left bill. I canceled them. Here are pics. of my yards 6 weeks later! They would not refund my payment either!

I started using TLC in 2021 as a new home owner. As I didn’t know any better I couldn’t tell whether or not I was seeing a difference, just that the scheduled payments were leaving my account on time. In 2022 my neighbor noticed that charges were posting however no one had been out to complete the services to his property. I ran back my cameras and was able to confirm that no one had been out to treat mine either. Calls to the company went unanswered. March 2023 I sent the required email before the season starts letting the company know that I was no longer in need of their services. Again no treatments were received and TLC at this point was no longer able to charge my card.
