We couldn’t be happier with TLS and the quality of their workmanship! We were given a drawing and timeline for our project and it came together flawlessly and on time. Tim was so easy to communicate with and very responsive to all our questions. His crew was polite and friendly and seemed to really enjoy themselves which translates to the quality of their work. Our old deck that was built over 10 years ago by a previous homeowner was falling part with rotted wood. On top of this, during its replacement we found that the previous contractor didn’t use flashing where the deck met the house and our exterior walls were rotted and in bad shape as a result! We interviewed 5 companies to replace our old deck and add an expansion sunroom/3 season’s room. Tim Stolzfus was great to work with throughout the process, drawing up designs (and redesigns), working with us to cut scope down into a something that was still amazing but also within our budget. We hired TLS to build a covered deck on the back of our house. From the start Tim was very responsive in getting our ideas on paper and even showed us the exact model of what the build would look like when completed. His crew came in and finished the job in 3 weeks during 2 major snow storms. The deck looks amazing and we couldn't be any happier. We hired TLS Carpentry over 10 years ago to create our pavilion. Tim used a unique type of wood for our ceiling and took our rough 'plans' to create a lovely outdoor space. Even 10 years later this outdoor 'room' is still my favorite part of the house and we have had no issues with Tim's work. He does a quality job, the first time.
