Tom built walnut kitchen cabinets to replace our existing and outdated cabinets. During the planning process he helped us determine ways to maximize useable space and ideas for enhancing the functionality of our kitchen. He communicated with us during the build process to validate concepts and styles that would fit the space. During installation, he ensured electrical and plumbing access was properly established and ready for hookups. Tom was a great choice for building our kitchen cabinets. He was great to work with and truly is a master of the craft.

We love our house that we purchased a few years ago, but the one pitfall was that we never felt like we had enough kitchen space. We contacted Tom to build a custom pantry cabinet that could fit in a convenient space next to our custom kitchen cabinets, and he did not disappoint. He was extremely responsive all along the way and created a pantry cabinet that you would never be able to guess wasn't original to the house, down to the surprisingly rare handles. We are so pleased with his work and professionalism, and would recommend him to absolutely anyone who needs carpentry work done.

We wanted cabinets that matched the existing woodwork in our home so we checked with a couple of options and went with Tom Simmons. We couldn’t be happier with the results. Top quality work done in the budget and timeframe we discussed at the start of the process. It’s almost impossible these days to find his rare combination of skill, quality, value, and integrity. I hope I can find an excuse to hire him again.

Tom built these perfect custom cabinets for our laundry room, despite the challenges the room had to offer. We needed cabinets that were not standard cabinet depths, that would accommodate some exposed pipe along the wall, and that would be as level as possible in a room where absolutely none of the surfaces were level (wavy walls, crooked floors, etc - the house is almost 100 years old). I also wanted a difficult design of traditional English cabinetry with built in feet, inset doors, and an apron front sink. He took on the challenge and absolutely delivered. He was prompt, communicative, sent progress photos, and the quality exceeded my hopes and expectations. I would definitely hire him again should the opportunity arise!
